1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using consentir.me, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to these terms of service and our privacy policy.

If you register a business on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind it to these terms.

2. Service description

consentir.me is a discovery platform that connects people with local businesses and experiences, primarily in Costa Rica.

We may display profiles, listings, external links, maps, and contact tools. We are not a party to transactions between visitors and businesses unless we expressly state otherwise.

3. Accounts and access

To register a business you must sign in with Google. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Protect access to your account and notify us of unauthorized use.
• Not share credentials or impersonate another person or business.

4. Business registration and listings

Registration requests go through human review before publication. We may approve, reject, suspend, or remove a profile if we detect false information, user risk, or a breach of these terms.

You are responsible for the content you submit: trade name, category, location, phone, links, and any additional material you add later.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use consentir.me to:

• Publish misleading, illegal, or third-party rights-infringing information.
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems, data, or accounts.
• Send spam, malware, or offensive content.
• Manipulate reviews, listings, or verification processes.
• Use the service in a way that harms the platform or other users.

6. Content and intellectual property

The design, brand, software, and editorial content of consentir.me belong to us or are licensed to us.

By submitting business information or materials, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, index, promote, and adapt that content within the service and related directory channels.

7. Third-party links and services

Profiles may include links to WhatsApp, social networks, maps, or other external sites. We do not control or guarantee those services.

Your use of Google, WhatsApp, or other providers is also subject to their own terms and policies.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with or without notice when reasonable.

We may update these terms. The current version will always be published on this page.

9. Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, consentir.me is not liable for indirect damages, data loss, lost profits, or decisions made based on third-party information published on the platform.

Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable consumer rights under applicable law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold consentir.me harmless from claims arising from your use of the service, content you publish, or breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply to you.
